Bristol Palin

This afternoon, a reporter asked me what I thought about the latest news regarding Sarah Palin. I had been in a bus for an hour, so I admitted that I did not know. The reporter proceeded to tell me that Sarah Palin's 17 year-old daughter, a high school senior, was pregnant. She further told me that Bristol Palin was planning on marrying the baby's father and raising the child with the full support of the Palin family.

My response was simple. All families face trials. The Palin family is facing this trial in the best possible way. They are supporting their daughter and future son-in-law and they are walking the pro-life walk by bringing this baby into the world.

Compare this to Barack Obama:

Look, I got two daughters — 9 years old and 6 years old. I am going to teach them first about values and morals, but if they make a mistake, I don't want them punished with a baby.

My wife Janice and I have been blessed (not punished) with eight babies.

I cant side with you here either.

I think if Sarah Palin spent a little less time politicing and a little bit more mothering, this would not have happened.

And that is what we would be saying if this was the Clintons or the Obama's.

I am against Sex ed in public schools because I believe that it is the responsibility of the parent. And here is no different. Bristol's poor choices are the result of how she was raised.

That is how I see it, and how the good Lord will see it on judgement day.
