Chairman/Staffer Iverson

My friend Ted over at The Real Sporer broke the news.  According to Ted:

... current RPI Chairman, and former Senate Majority Leader, Stewart Iverson has taken a position with the Senate campaign staff.

Maybe it is because I am new to the State Central Committee. I would have thought that we would have been informed as a courtesy by the chairman before he took such a position. Perhaps Chairman Iverson is planning to resign as party chairman?
